Strategic Land Chipping Norton Oxfordshire
Rainier Developments is promoting 55 acres of land in Chipping Norton through the emerging Oxfordshire Joint Statutory Spatial Plan and subsequent review of the West Oxfordshire Local Plan.
The land is located to the east of the town and adjacent to the boundary of the East of Chipping Norton Strategic Development Area (SDA) – a site allocated in the West Oxfordshire Local Plan for 1,200 new homes; employment opportunities; a new primary school; local shopping facilities; and an eastern link road connecting Banbury Road with London Road. The land has potential to provide additional development to the East of Chipping Norton SDA with Phase 1 obtaining planning consent for up to 90 new homes.
We are continuing to engage with West Oxfordshire District Council regarding the remainder of the site which has the potential to contribute to meeting the long-term housing needs of the Town.
